Dr. Russell Cooper's CV extends across many disciplines of medicine, including complementary and
integrative medicine and mind-body medicine. Dr Cooper graduated from the University of
Witwatersrand in Johannesburg in 1981 being awarded an MBBCh, and worked as a senior medical
officer in multiple disciplines of medicine in South Africa and England from 1982-1984.

In 1987 he was a Registrar in Accident and Emergency Medicine at the Launceston General Hospital
Tasmania, Australia. In 1988 he established Anubha Mountain Health Retreat, a full time holistic
medical practice in Fern Tree, in the hills above Hobart on the island of Tasmania, which continues to
be a progressive and nurturing centre for patients seeking a complementary approach for physical and
spiritual wellbeing.

Dr. Cooper has had extensive training and experience in Anti-Ageing Medicine; specifically bio-identical
hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). He attends multiple international conferences each year and has
the largest practice of BHRT in Tasmania. Dr Cooper manages a comprehensive investigation and
treatment program for male and female hormonal decline and is involved in introducing innovative
testing procedures throughout Australasia and internationally, which provide enhanced safety and
efficacy.

In Australia Dr Cooper has been instrumental in introducing genetic testing for polymorphisms for
cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, menopause/andropause, the metabolic syndrome, eating
according to your genes (Nutrigenomics) and individualised gene-based drug treatment
(Pharmacogenomics).

He has been awarded Australian Fellowships in Nutritional & Environmental Medicine, Herbal Medicine,
and Acupuncture. Dr Cooper has achieved Board Certification of the American Board of Anti-Ageing
Medicine, and completed the first Diploma in Preventative and Anti-Ageing Medicine through the
European Society of Anti-Ageing Medicine (ESAAM) in 2007.

Dr. Cooper has lectured extensively on Nutritional and Mind-Body Medicine internationally since 1992.
In 1992 he presented a lecture on the holistic approach to cancer treatment to the 8th Academy of
Family Medicine National Congress in South Africa. He has lectured to the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
and Cancer support groups and the Theosophical Society for many years. He has lectured on Human
Growth Hormone and Anti-Ageing Medicine at the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental
Medicine Specialist Training Program in 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004,  & 2005 in Australia and New Zealand.

In 2002 Dr. Cooper was the guest lecturer on Growth Hormone at Faculty of Family Practice, School of
Medicine, University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. In 2003, 2004 and 2005 he was invited to
lecture on Growth Hormone at the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgeons and Physicians annual
Conference on the Queensland Gold Coast. He was a guest speaker at the University of Hong Kong
Medical School annual conference 'Advances in Medicine 2004', where he lectured on Human Growth
Hormone Deficiency in adults and the value of replacement therapy.

Since 2001 Dr Cooper has continued to present intensive Human Growth Hormone seminars to  
doctors throughout Australasia. He has also conducted seminars in South East Asia (Hong Kong,
Singapore and the Philippines).

In July 2006, Dr Cooper presented a lecture on Genetic Diagnostics at the PCCA International
Hormone Conference on the Gold Coast. In September 2006 he was invited to lecture to the College of
Family Physicians in Johannesburg South Africa, where he spoke on Genetic Diagnostics. In December
2006, Dr Cooper was the principal lecturer at an Analytical Reference Laboratory (ARL) International
Genetics Conference in Melbourne.

In January 2007 Dr Cooper presented two papers on Oestrogens and Genetic Polymorphisms at the
first South African Academy of Aesthetic and Anti-Ageing Medicine Conference in Cape Town. In April
2007 he lectured on Genetic Polymorphisms in Neuropsychiatry at The International Mental Health
Summit on the Gold Coast.

In December 2007, he was a guest lecturer at the European Society of Anti-Ageing Medicine 13th
Congress of Gynaecology, Andrology and Anti-Ageing on the Genetics of Breast Cancer where he was
also co-chair of the lecture session on Genetics.

In September 2008, Dr Cooper presented 3 papers on Genetic Polymorphisms, Nutrigenomics and
Hormone Metabolites at the Pan-American Congress on Anti-Ageing Medicine in Montreal, Canada.

In March 2009, Dr Cooper completed training with the European Institute of Personalised Prevention in
France, achieving diploma certification in Genomics.

In December 2009, Dr Cooper achieved certification in Chelation Therapy after completing training and
passing the international examination for certification in Chelation Therapy through the American
College for the Advancement of Medicine (ACAM).

In March 2010, Dr Cooper was invited to lecture of the ACNEM Special Training Seminar on
Nutrigenomics and Epigenetics in Melbourne where he presented a paper on 'Living and Eating for our
Genes-Dharma or Drama'.

In August 2010, Dr Cooper lectured at the ACNEM Cancer Special Training Seminar in Queenstown
New Zealand, where he presented a paper on 'The Molecular Genetics of Breast Cancer'.

Dr Cooper is an international Medical Advisor for Genosense Diagnostics in Vienna and lectures to
doctors training in Genetic Diagnostics in Europe and Australia. He was the medical consultant of
SciGen Pharmaceuticals in Australia from 2006 to 2010.

Dr Cooper has trained extensively in meditation in Europe America and India and has taught and
lectured on meditation world-wide since 1975. He is the director of his own health retreat and has
conducted extensive programs in Mind Body Medicine. He continues to research and lecture on
Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Growth Hormone and Genetic Polymorphisms in Australia
and internationally. Dr. Cooper enjoys hiking, mountaineering and snow and ice climbing, and has
successfully climbed peaks in the US, South Africa, Malawi, the Italian and French Alps, and the Indian
and Nepali Himalayas.
